Vertical Turning Machine
Vertical turning centers give foundries with machine shops as well as those that outsource machining the ability to cut bigger and heavier castings.... Essentially, a vertical turning center configuration takes a traditional lathe and stands it on end. Vertical turning lathes are large, ram-type machines, also called vertical boring mills (VBMs). High demand for vertically turned parts from industries such as energy, aerospace, and construction ensures that companies see a quick return on investment that they can then pass on to their customers.
Horizontal Boring Machine
A horizontal boring machine or horizontal boring mill is a machine tool which bores holes in a horizontal direction. There are three main types — table, planer and floor.... The table type is the most common and, as it is the most versatile, it is also known as the universal type. Horizontal boring machines are often heavy-duty industrial machines used for roughing out large components, but there are high-precision models too. Modern machines use advanced computer numerical control (CNC) systems and techniques.
Cylindrical, Centerless & Surface Grinding.
In centerless grinding, the workpiece is held between two wheels, rotating in the same direction at different speeds..., and a workholding platform. While rotating, each particle of the grinding wheel removes a small chip of the workpiece material as its abrasive edges make contact with the workpiece, usually at high speed. Cylindrical Grinding, as its name implies, has to do with the grinding of cylindrical shaped objects, parts or components.
All type Gear cutting and Grinding.
Gear cutting is any machining process for creating a gear. The most common gear-cutting processes include hobbing, broaching, milling, and grinding.... Such cutting operations may occur either after or instead of forming processes such as forging, extruding, investment casting, or sand casting. Gears are commonly made from metal, plastic, and wood. Gear grinding is the process of finish grinding gear teeth, and is a critical step when manufacturing high precision gearing.
EDM and Wire cut Process
Wire cut EDM (or WCEDM) discharges the electrified current by means of a taut thin wire, which acts as the cathode and is guided alongside the desired cutting path, or kerf.... Wire cut EDM equipment is run by computer numerically controlled (CNC) instruments, which can control the wire on a three-dimensional axis to provide greater flexibility.
Tool Room Facilities
Tool Rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and support facilities. A toolroom is a room where tools are stored; a tool crib. In larger companies..., the tools stored there must be checked in and out, and there may be a person assigned to attend the area. The Tool Rooms are concentrating on an Integrated Development of the related segments of industries by way of providing International Quality Tools, Trained Personnel and Consultancy in tooling and related areas and are constantly crossing new frontiers in the quest for excellence and beyond.
